TX/AR native Rebecca Jed found a kindred spirit in Mae Bliss when she met the TN hillbilly in East Nash and gave her a nip of bourbon after noticing a crow feather in Mae's hair...and hearing her sing while she was cookin. Mae's parents met at a square dance where both sets of grandparents were playing. She grew up on a hog farm 5 minutes from Loretta Lynn's dude ranch in Hurricane Mills, while Jed was barrel racing in the Ozarks and on her tx ranch... More likely than not, they are related, At least, they sound and act like it!
Jed and Mae crafted Jed's latest EP, Wildfire & Moonshine in 2016 with the aid of nashville's finest. They are excited to debut Bucksnort Beauties' first official single and music video, Cockadoodledoo.
The blend of these dixie darlins' voices is as soothing as your favorite bourbon.... with equal amounts fire and spice. If you are looking for original Southern stompers with a modern spin on authentic Appalachian sound, come get some! With an organic following around the globe before their official debut, these ladies are chompin at the bit to show off their tunesmithin and set the world on fire.
No pretense. No posing. These ladies are corn fed and country bred with plenty of sass to go around!
